Job Summary

The Client Operations Consultant is a hybrid business and technical role that sits on the Client Operations team, which manages client onboarding, integration & implementation, and analytics, and is the central hub between the Business Development, Client Success, and Engineering teams. The Client Operations Consultant is responsible for ensuring the success of launching new brands & retailers on the INTURN platform.


  • Craft, execute, and refine INTURN's onboarding, launch, and implementation strategy
  • Own technical onboarding for clients, including account-specific configurations & customizations
  • Act as the subject matter expert on INTURN's technical capabilities and maintain a strong knowledge of product roadmap
  • Collaborate with Engineering to provide input for new features that will improve and accelerate the client onboarding process
  • Provide risk assessments to internal teams on client launches
  • Create and provide training materials for brands and retailers
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to integrate into client's ERP and other fashion/inventory systems as needed
  • Maintain a high client retention rate by responding & resolving issues quickly and communicating proactively and effectively
  • Document Client Operations best practices and continually refine/improve upon them


  • BA/BS is required
  • Advanced degree is a plus

Key Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years of work experience
  • Preferred consulting experience 
  • Intermediate/expert Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Quick learner who is comfortable diving into & learning new systems
  • Strong communicator who can translate client pain points and requests into clear and concise Product & Engineering requests
  • Deadline-driven, proactive mentality; someone who doesn't take 'no' for an answer and will break through walls to achieve the desired outcome for the client
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and making timely decisions without having information
  • Impeccable attention to detail


  • Undergraduate degree or prior work experience in engineering
  • Intermediate/expert SQL skills
  • Experience with a programming language is a plus
  • Experience in retail and/or the off-price market
  • Experience using ERP/inventory management systems
