Job Summary 

INTURN is looking for a highly motivated Strategic Sales Development Representative to join our rapidly growing Sales team. We are looking for an individual who will be supporting the Business Development team by hunting new business within specific territories and retail verticals. 

Our Sales Development team serves as the front-line in our customer engagements efforts, contacting retail professionals with the goal of generating qualified opportunities for our sales team. This role reports into our Director of Sales Operations, which helps to ensure that Sales Development Representatives are contacting the right people, at the right time, with the right message - ultimately giving our sales team more qualified opportunities to win business.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and identify target accounts to contact via cold calling and email outreach
  • Research prospects and identify stakeholders in order to generate interest and create rapport
  • Manage expectations and overcome objections
  • Maintain an organized pipeline and activity records using Salesforce
  • Reach and exceed key performance indicators including calls scheduled, calls completed, qualified opportunities and deals won from your meetings
  • Develop skills necessary for promotion into a full, closing role

Key Qualifications 

  • 1+ year of SaaS Sales experience
  • BA/BS required, advanced degree is a plus
  • Sales-focused, strategic thinking with a bias towards action
  • Quantitative track record of exceptional performance and a strong professional trajectory
  • Experience with Salesforce and Outreach (or SalesLoft) strongly preferred
  • Has a competitive spirit, coachable, and results driven
  • Articulate, confident, and the ability to think on your toes when speaking with a potential customer
  • Can collaborate and influence in a “win as a team” environment
  • Strong prospecting skills and ability to develop business in new and existing accounts
  • Resilient, doesn’t take “no” for an answer
  • Effective communication skills with ability to build influential relationships and deliver results in a cross-functional environment
  • Highly motivated to build a career at INTURN
  • Ability to understand customer needs and meet that need with a successful product sale
